FOR AN ENTIRE HOUR + THIS MORNING!!!!!!!!

work was great. it's such a great experience. though i worked 10 hours.

tomorrow, i'm going from 9 am until midnight. it's a lot, but it really doesn't bother me because those of you who know me know that if i'm not busy at school/work i'm bored out of my mind, so it's me.

just a bit MORE hardcore than i'm used to, but heck if i can complain - i have the greatest internship ever. so w00!

so much for rest this vacation, or seeing anyone though :p

so literally three hours after my glorious return to new york, my mom and i turned right back around and went back to the city for the one and only buffy sing a long!

if you are a whole world of confused, allow me to elaborate.

in the mannor of rocky horror and all that is god in this world, us buffy fanatics have created a new form of midnight cult-ish ventures - during the 6th season of buffy there was a musical episode. that musical episode is now being shown at midnight (on a monthly basis at the IFC) with a live action cast (similar to the way rocky horror is...minus the microphones and solo singing :p) with callback lines and props and all. it's pretty much the most fantastic part of living right now. honestly.

and they had a special mother's day tribute and showed one of the greatest episodes EVER afterwards (on a big screen, mind you, which has only been a nearly life - long dream of mine to see) so mom and i stayed there until about 2:30 am...and got back around 3.

now i'm on my way to being brain dead, and i start work monday. crap! i still don't know what time i'm supposed to come in! BAH!

in the past two weeks i have recieved messages from people with some comment on my taste in music.

well guess what everyone - GROW THE FUCK UP!

my music is a part of who i am, it's a part of my life. if you have a fucking problem with the bands or songwriters i listen to, then great. i'm not forcing shit onto you because i'm not an elitist snob.

get a life and stop trying to make mine more difficult because you disagree with my musical interests. it's just plain rude and ridiculous and i don't do it to a single one of you.

don't bother responding to this if you have some witty comment. that just proves my point.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!

My friend and I started going to Bench Personal Training Gym in March, and I bought a package of 10 hour long sessions at $35 each (essentially 50% off), however because of the fact that they moved soon after I started going, and other various dramas, I only had three sessions. Here's the problem - I bought it in a package and they said I can either carry over my 7 sessions or I can sign them over to someone else and get compensated from said person...well I'm not even sure if/when I'll be back to GWU at this point, and I REALLY want my money back...if ANYONE is interested the gym is on 18th and K (really close to campus...block away from java green :p), they're a really good gym, and all of their equipment is brand new and they spend the entire hour with you personally...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know if you are interested!!

It would be 7 sessions @ $245...and it's an entire hour alone, and 50% off what it should be.

PLEASE help me someone!!!!

i haven't slept

so much work to get done...

my mind is concentrated on only one thing though.


*it's 9:06 am and i've completed my entire research paper for SMPA...i don't know how that happened...

no birthday wishes or concern that i'm like a 1/2 hour away from the VT campus.

anyways....registration was this morning and my schedule is effing crazy. no more easy as shit mon - thurs MORNING weeks with basically all of thurs and fri completley free (i worked though on those days...made uber moneys)

thanks to my internship this summer, i'll be making around 2 or 3K so I won't need to worry TOO much about working all the time. i can have my job back too, so that makes it easy to make a schedule. i'm registered for 15 credits, but i have more than 15 credits worth of classes because of all of the discussions that don't count for SHIT!

I'm taking:

1. Bio - Diversity in Life (and 3 hour lab)
2. Human Sexuality
3. Italian - language, culture, and society
4. Intro American Politics and Govt (and discussion)
5. Women in the US (and discussion)

And I'm waiting for any photo class (other than intro b&w to open up) ::crosses fingers:: hopefully color photo or digital color photo printing, but here's to hoping!

i'll be home soon, only a few more weeks. yay!

last night was one of the greatest nights i've had here.

addmitedly, it was the single first time this place has felt like home to me.

my good friend jon brought me over to his friend's place, which essentially exactly like a night at the poots' only with alcohol. a lot of alcohol. but it was amazing, once again i was hanging with a bunch of really great, funny guys, playing video games, talking shit, being stupid - basically, being myself. it was so much fun.

and to add to that, it was the night i was originally supposed to have birthday parties, etc...and for me, that was one of the greatest birthdays i've ever had (even though it's tomorrow and it's storming out and will continue to do so all week)

someone just called me from a "withheld" number claiming to be quacey valentine but they had a strange accent, told me they heard i was single, and then hung up...ummm...WTF.?!

why do i keep getting fucking weird ass calls from people? i seriously should change my number after that horrible summer two years ago...just got tired of having to do that.

GROW UP!

and if i simply don't answer, they leave messages. if i put it on the busy signal, they keep calling. SO annoying and ridiculously immature.

so get this. i spent 4 hrs in my photo lab redoing a project tonight. thurs, fri and sat i have to re-do two more. that means sun and mon i have to write three essays that are due tues and the rest of the week. oh yea, what's mon? my birthday! so that means i can't just sleep it away and ignore it, now i have to pull all nighters to write essays because my weekend is packed with photo. awesome.

she's a great singer, the band was fantastic, and her energy is simply great.

she was sober for the past four shows, ash and i heard she had been drunk all tour but lilly allen made a point of stating her sobriety, it was quite funny.

overall a good night, nice talks with lots of different people, relaxing evening...

oh and i got an uber cool shirt (as i do every concert i go to). yay for concerts!! always a great end to a day!

AHHHH! BLADES OF GLORY = BEST MOVIE ... THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is DEFF the next Anchorman and totally makes up for any crappy movies they've made in the past few years. Holy CRAP, it was freakin HILARIOUS. They didn't even show the funniest parts in the commercials. I could see it another 800 times!!!

BTW - Any ideas for my birthday? It's a Monday night, so inevitabley that causes for going out to dinner. But the weekend before (and possibly after) are when I want to do something...either party or w/e. I'm just not sure what :/
